If my '96 nissan takes 5w-30 and i live in KY should i change oil types if i'm going to FL where its hotter?

i'm going for 4 months when it's hottest down there! If my '96 nissan takes 5w-30 and i live in KY should i change oil types if i'm going to FL where its hotter?
You can use 10w-40 if you like, but if 5w-30 is the ony one recommended in the manual, I would stick with that.If my '96 nissan takes 5w-30 and i live in KY should i change oil types if i'm going to FL where its hotter?
5W-30 will be OK, but your car is an older car, so a thicker oil will help cushion engine internal parts. Thicker oil also help preventing oil blow by the piston rings.

Consider 10W-30.
NO !!! Definitely stay with recommended oil. Nissan has the tightest tolerences in the auto industry. Quality control is second to none. There is a reason why they use a thinner oil.
