California and others are trying to get Arizona to share more of its water. Should Arizona citizens be compensated and paid for sharing the water that flows through the State?

Yes absolutely. I would go so far as to have the great state of California made an independent country. They get water from many more people than AZ. They were filling their swimming pools while a farmer I knew in Idaho had his kids bathing in the same water as each other. They didn't care... Just kept taking. I would like them as a separate country and have to pay for the water they take in the form of treaties. I would like to see all the electricity from the Grand Coulee dam paid for according to their consumption. They ignore federal law as it suits them. They have marijuana shops and sanctuary cities and because of its population they control the feds over the issues of their interest.
Colorado River water is apportioned to the various states and Mexico by national and international agreement. Maybe these agreements need updating. The whole world is running out of water so conservation will need to be practiced by everyone. New ways of obtaining water should be researched including ocean desalination.
So what happens here....each of us gets $.05 a year for sharing water? Maybe we should ALL watch our water usage so there's enough to go around.
Yes, absolutely. Water is more essential resource for living than oil. Without water, people die. Without oil, people may be uncomfortable.

No .God put the water there .I don't think anyone should profit from something God gave to everyone. How would you like to be on the paying side of that question. Would you like to be compensated for someone seeing the same stars that you can see over Arizona.
