Yes. Oil disperses heat generated by the Earth's core and helps lubricate the tectonic plates. Without oil, I suspect we would not be able to live on as much as the Earth as we can now. i think the Earth has cooled in part because of the oil under its surface and has thereby allowed for more life to populate it.Does oil help us live better?
i cannot answer with a straight ';yes';. we would have to find
a definition of what is ';better life'; first.
if you mean, does it help us to live more comfortably, then my
answer is yes. the question, however, remains,is comfort what
makes life better or does it restrict our activities, endeavours
and desires for ersonal experiences. does our personal comfort
lead us to forget thinking of coming generations, our children
and grandchildren and does that make our lives better?Does oil help us live better?
Of course, things won't be close to efficient without oil. And if we lessen our usage this pleasure won't be denied from our children and grand-children.
Oil definitely does help you. But if you do not use shampoo and soap to remove it from your greasy forehead the girls will never like you.
Yes. But in the long run we have to find an alternative fuel source as the world stocks of petroleum will not last into the next century.
