If all technology that depends on oil. And that oil is no more. How can we adopt to the new world without oil.Do you think all people all over the world rich or poor can sustained their living without oil ?
Man has the creative capacity to survive. Let's consider a model situation.





Family farmers produce crops and livestock to sustain the family unit. Everything which a family unit needs which is available on the farm makes the family independently sufficient. Everything that additional production must be exchanged to satisfy need is a vulnerable liability.





Limiting the liabilities is the task at hand. Complex corporate entities survive upon the liabilities.





Simple societies around the globe are surviving without complex corporate interaction. Survival skills have not been sacrificed in a division of labor.





Cuba is one example of being ahead of the survival curve on fossil fuel dependency. Food production is a basic survival skill which only requires access to arable land.





If people can't be fed, what is the purpose of more complex industry and technology?Do you think all people all over the world rich or poor can sustained their living without oil ?
some people could live without it, however many people wouldn't. Almost all the income for OPEC countries such as Saudi Arabia comes from oil. Without oil, their economies will collapse. Basically, the loss of oil will cause the collapse of the global economy. Although people can still survive, their lifestyles will have to change. However, fortunately, OPEC countries have about 60 or 70 years of oil left, (if they continue at the same rate as they are at now) and Russia is currently expanding into the Siberia region, and discovering large oil wells. By the time we do run out, we will probably have discovered some new alternative energy source that is actually used widely, so we should be ok.
You know you are a true intelligent visionary,I like people who think alternatively/outside the box.This is a question that I was constantly asking myself.Here is the thing:you see the price of oil is very low,50%of the price hike come from the ''oil speculators'' and 50% comes from the fact that the oil wells are running dry fast(it is becoming scarce).According to secret polls fossil fuel(crude oil:gas and diesel) is just a fad and the oil wells are set to dry up by 2038(because of the continual growth in the world population which is putting a major strain on the reserves/wells).People can only sustain the living without oil by waining themselves off of it starting as of NOW!!! and find ways to convert ALL technologies to alternative energy mode,e.g.:how oil is made of hydrogen-carbons,they might try converting it to where it run on hydrogen-oxygen or just plain hydrogen .You see the United States Of America and the rest of the Western Hemisphere need to get ''Real Courageous Visionary Humanity'' type of people(people who actually care about the needs and concerns of the common person,can think outside the box/alternatively/see the bigger over all picture,and who cannot be intimitated/bought off) in leadership position who actually has the guts to stand up against ''OPEC'' to say enough is enough, and has the adventurous/courageous spirit to actually go through with a ''Real Actual Decent Renewable Energy Programme''.On this planet we have five main sources of renewable energy:Earth=Geothermal Energy,Fire=Heat Energy,Wind=Aerosol Propulsion Energy/Water=Hydroenergy,Sun=Solar/Heat Energy.Also the answers to all of humankind energy needs are right in the Periodic Elemental Table itself because at least a dozen renewable altenative energy sources(which they can easily convert technology to run on) are hidden in that table which is enviromentally friendly and could even reverse the damage that hydrocarbon and carbon(gasoline,diesel,coal)fuel already inflicted on the ozone and the enviroment.I hope this answers your question.
salamu alaykum,i would like to answer about that question which is would poor and rich survive without oil,in my view poor can survive but rich cant survive because poor was poor all the time and didnt get any advantage from oil but developed countries will suffer more such as US and UK which exploit iraq oil for free.
One place to begin is to start replacing items made from oil products with other materials. We could reduce a lot of the waste created by plastics if we could replace them with glass, metal, or paper, like people did in the past.
In spiritual world nothing is dependent on oil. Only in materialistic world oil dependence may be to some extent. Join spiritual world and enjoy oil free life.
