What type of oil should I use on my '94 Buick Skylark? (I live in Wisconsin, the car has 199,000 miles approx)

Valvoline 5W 30 or even 10W 30, if you don't want to worry much about changing oil grades during season changes I reccomend 5W 30.

Brands I prefer the Valvoline or Penzoil.

Whatever you do, do not switch over to a synthetic after that many miles and that old of a car.

Hope this helps. What type of oil should I use on my '94 Buick Skylark? (I live in Wisconsin, the car has 199,000 miles approx)
You should use a quality 5w30 oil. What type of oil should I use on my '94 Buick Skylark? (I live in Wisconsin, the car has 199,000 miles approx)
I would use high mileage oil they have been promoting. 5w20 in the winter and 10w30 in the summer..
