Does anyone know how offshore oil rig employees live on one?

I am curious, it appears to me that a bed doesn't even fit on one, where do they keep the food?!Does anyone know how offshore oil rig employees live on one?
I've worked on an offshore rig before. I lived on the rig for 14 days and I was off for 14 days. The one I worked on was actually huge. The living quarters was more like a hotell. There was a large area where we would eat. We had a full commercial size kitchen with a cook. Walk-in Freezer, a huge Fridge. The rooms were more like a college dorm room. I shared a room with three other workers (two bunk bed units). Our room shared a bathroom that joined an identical room. More important positions on the rig had there own rooms. And some were 2 to a room. We had a TV/Entertainment Room about the size of a large Livingroom.

There was a lot of fishing.

There not as small as they look. There are places you can actually walk on %26amp; tour one yourself. I know there's one in Galveston, TX

Hope that gave you a better idea of what it's like on an offshore rig.
