The Spoils of War...........Do you think we should get oil at a discount from Iraq?

Iraq's oil is Iraq's oil. Certainly we have the military force to take whatever we wanted, but that would be a violation of the Law of Nations, which is embedded in our Constitution - making such action unconstitutional. On the other hand, if they wanted to sell us that oil, voluntarily, at a discount I wouldn't complain. The Spoils of War...........Do you think we should get oil at a discount from Iraq?
Hmm, invade a nation, kill their people, then demand cheap goods from them. Yeah, that sounds morally right.

No! The only spoils of war are death and destruction. It is in now way right to inflict such on a people then demand to be paid for it.

You think it is the companies and governments that will suffer for your discount. Try asking the oil field worker whose home was blown up how much he likes his pay cut for his previously grossly underpaid job just so you get cheaper gas to run a car that he would never be able to afford even before your cheaper oil depleted his income. Not to mention that house of his that we blew up.

The spoils of war, indeed. The Spoils of War...........Do you think we should get oil at a discount from Iraq?
The ';Spoils of the war'; in Iraq?

What do you think?
Get out of Iraq. It always was a big mistake. After Kuwait and Iraq wars, oil is $80-130 ..... how cheap would it be if there were no oil wars? How much were we paying if Gore was elected?? ...... I will always believe oil prices above $30 is pure speculation and market manipulation.
US ';liberation'; of Iraq brought much more trouble to this country than Saddam had done. If robbing the country is a part of the ';liberation'; plan, then take oil for free. It's for the sake of ';democracy'; after all.
Discount nothin. We should straight take their oil. After all we have sacrificed thousands of troops to liberate them. It's time we get our due and proper.
We didn't go their for bloody oil quit bitching assholes ok
COST US NOTHING BUDDY SERVED IN IRAQ
Time to get hydrogen power prefected for cars.
of course.
You Are
We need to admit we went there for oil and take it
