Can anyone please advise how to get a job on the oil rigs. i am kiwi and live in australia?

First of all you should have a profession, which is needed, in Oil %26amp; Gas industry; anything along with: Marine, electrical, mechanical, geologist, drilling, automation, etc. - You got the picture. No necessarily a degree, but as a trade will do. Then get to Perth, which is one of the biggest cities with peoples working for oil companies I know; you鈥檒l be able to find all theses agencies which hire for oil rigs.


Don鈥檛 be too enthusiastic though (be realistic): Platforms are a very demanding environment, and oil companies do require high professionals and very experienced peoples 鈥?because they need and can afford them. The dynamics in there are not suitable for ';Quick learners';
