good quality unleaded fuel, min 91 octane, any good quality 10w/40 engine oil. Do not use car type muti grade oils. Car oils have friction inhibitors which may affect the wet clutch found on bikes.I live in South Africa, and own a 96 Yamaha FZR 750 Genesis. Can anyone tell me what fuel and oil it uses pls?
10W40 is too thin for SA. Try Castrol GTX 20W50. Used it in my XS1100 for 95000 Km with no problem.
