The reason for the war in Iraq was to halt production of oil in that Country, thereby driving the price of oil up. All so the oil co.'s can make record profits.
Because corporations benefit from this war. There is plenty of oil leaving Iraq(although now nearly as much as they'd like).





Any oil profits will first go to Corporations to pay them back for drillling, then they will make huge profits. I doubt the US will ever get paid anything. It's more likely that Iraq will be frced to have US bases there in exchange for debt.

Wow another ignorant question from this person. We get almost 80 percent of our oil from South America. Less than 10 comes from the middle east. Do your homework first. Besides the shipping cost from the Middle East would make it more expensive than it is now. Hence South America.
If this were a war about oil then we would be rolling in it by now. Since there are Muslims now all over the place then maybe it was about freeing them and THEY are the booty lol. Used your own logic.
What oil ';booty';? All of the oil from Iraq has to go to Saudi Arabia so we don't get squat from it. All of the pipe lines flow straight to Saudi. OPEC has to have their oil to exploit the rest of the world with.
